You guys HAVE TO WATCH the Hawtin & Flash videos. Here's what I got out of it:
Richie talks to Flash is a NYC coffee shop about how buggy the beta software was and how he had to play a set live for the first time with new software in front of the NI developers and the Press.
Richie: 'I remember when we launched and had a real beta of the software and it was crashing all the time, they are finishing last minute code ... and then I had to play'
Check Flash's facial expressions...
Richie: 'It was really the first time I played a whole set, I didn't want to use MP3's and Records, tonight it had to be only the comouter'
Flash: 'Shit, shit, shit....'
Richie: 'It was me playing, behind me John Aquaviva, the inventors and programmers (all like this), and Press....
Flash: Shit...
Richie: 'Waiting for the Dropout!'
Flash: Covers his face and says 'OH GOD!'.
Richie: 'It was one of the best sets of my life'
FAIL
LOL.... No actually it is a cute video, it has me intrigued. Are they saying this new version is ROCK SOLID like Serato???
Okay, so both Flash and Richie are so used to the NI software fucking up and when the new version doesn't Richie plays one of the best sets of his life.
LOL, I expect Serato to work every time i boot up, just wanted to share that. Check the video here:
